Nostalgia-driven retro design is extremely popular, but when it comes to green products, there often aren’t any vintage products to draw inspiration from.
ICON is known taking classic cars and updating them with modern design elements and components; that approach is apparent here. Unveiled earlier this year as the ICON Electric Flyer, the bike features slick lines inspired by a 1915 board-track racer motorcycle.
The E-Tracker can reach a top speed of 36 mph in “Race Mode,” or 20 mph in “Street Legal” mode. Recharging takes about 6 hours, while range is estimated at 30 miles.
The E-Tracker starts at $4,500, which seems a like a lot for a bicycle, but isn’t too bad when compared to the scooters and mopeds this vintage cruiser’s performance comes close to matching.
Those urban car alternatives don’t come close to matching the E-Tracker’s sweet styling, either.
