Planning a sustainable vacation? What better way to travel green than to ditch a traditional hotel for a tent?
The concept is essentially a series of tents stacked in a sort of bamboo fractal. The individual triangular tents can be joined together either vertically or horizontally to create a fairly large structure that’s easily reconfigurable.
The bamboo structure will be held together with rope, allowing it to be easily disassembled for reuse at a different site. The bamboo itself is also a notably sustainable material. It’s abundant in Asia (Penda is headquartered in Beijing), and grows rapidly.
